Local Ortho Surgeons Earn Additional Sports Medicine Certificate

Five Board Certified orthopaedic surgeons from Professional Orthopaedic Associates have earned a Subspecialty Certificate in Sports Medicine through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

• Dr. Chris Johnson
• Dr. Brian Torpey
• Dr. Gregg Foos
• Dr. David Gentile

All of these surgeons are already Board Certified and Fellowship Trained in a sub-specialty of orthopaedics such as hand, sports medicine, shoulder, etc.

This most recent certification means that the surgeon’s education and training, professional qualifications, surgical competence and ethical conduct, in the treatment of sports medicine injuries, have passed yet another evaluation set forth by the American Board of Orthopaedic Specialists.
