Dr. Bade - 2007 ROHL Orthopaedic Honoree

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery of Monmouth Medical Center has, since its inception in 1934, functioned as a volunteer clinical department staffed by consultant practitioners.

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, founded by Dr. Joseph Ransahoff, continued and expanded by Drs. Halbstein, Otis and Lehmann, has presently enlarged itself to a full service department dedicated to clinical orthopaedic excellence, community care, and orthopaedic residency training.

Continuing in this tradition are various member of our faculty that have rendered through the years, excellent volunteer service.

Let it be known that Harry A. Bade, M.D. has been on the orthopaedic attending staff at Monmouth Medical Center since 1982. He is a graduate of the orthopaedic residency program at the Hospital for Specialty Surgery and fellowship-trained in Hand Surgery at The Roosevelt Hospital in New York City. For 25 years, Dr. Harry Bade has been a relentless defender of the Orthopaedic Department. He has been an ever present and ongoing teacher of residents, and their most exacting judge. It is for these attributes we honor Harry A. Bade, M.D., as the 2007 RHOL Orthopaedic Honoree.
