Orthopaedic Surgeon, Dr. David Gentile, volunteered to provide on-site medical coverage for the 31st new jersey North-South All Start Football Classic. The game was played at Kean University on Monday June 29th 2009.

Marybeth Maida, journalist and breast cancer survivor authored a new book, "Beauty Pearls for Chemo Girls". Ms. Maida is a patient of Dr. Brian M. Torpey. Dr. Gabisan presented a lecture entitled "Athletic Injuries of the Foot and Ankle" at the Association of Philippine Physicians in America (APPA) conference held in Philadelphia, PA on July 3, 2009. Dr. Gabisan discussed the evaluation and management of common foot and ankle conditions found in sport medicine.
