“I met Dr. Bade over15 years ago when he operated on my knee. I had previously gone for a first opinion to another orthopaedic doctor. When I explained that the other doctor wanted to realign my knee, Dr.  Bade strongly disagreed and said that I should not allow anyone to do that. He explained that the knee is like a traverse rod that runs smoothly. When you realign it, it will not run as smoothly as it should. I felt comfortable with the advise he gave me and he did my surgery soon after. Well, Dr. Bade was correct. It's been at least 15 or more years since then and I haven't had any problems since then. In recent years, I have gone to him for a hip problem and more recently, a shoulder problem. His careful examinations and correct diagnosis of my problems have been the key to my successful health outcome in each case. I have recommended Dr. Bade to many of my friends and coworkers in the Manalapan school system over the years and everyone has come back to thank me for recommending him. They all feel lucky to have found such a good and honest man as well as the best orthopaedic surgeon in our area. I might add that he never rushes you during his office visits. He takes as long as necessary to complete his diagnosis and he also takes the time to chat about life in general. I like that in a doctor. Most doctors today barely give you a chance to speak and rush you out the door. Dr. Bade is not that type of doctor. He is so respectful.”

“I had a fusion of my left ankle on Oct. 21, 2013. I was in a non-weight bearing cast for 6 weeks, then a weight bearing cast for 6 weeks. After that, I was able to walk with the aid of a walker, a cane, and now I do not have to use anything. I have been in physical therapy for 8 weeks. I am doing well and very happy to be without that terrible pain. I am just amazed I can peddle a bike, walk down a hill without pain, and am getting ready to dance again. I am very thankful to Dr. Gabisan and all the office people, especially Nicole and Rose Ann.”

“Not a bad one in the bunch! I saw Dr. Gesell for knee pain. He gave me a needle which I didn't even feel a pinch. I call this my six-month lub job. Dr. Gabisan removed a bone spur above my big toe this fall. I felt like I was at a spa. I was given heated blankets and a TV in my room. The staff was excellent as was my doctor. I was back to walking my dogs in a couple of days. I didn't need pain meds but took a couple of advil. I would recommend this procedure in a heartbeat.”

“Dr. Cohen walked me through exactly what was going on with my back. We tried pain management before we made any decisions. Unfortunately, ultimately, I had to have fusion surgery. The surgery was clearly explained to me. It was also made very clear about my recovery path and what to expect. I am now playing tennis and riding my horse again. These things were impossible before the surgery.”

“My husband was injured while on vacation and needed to see an orthopedic specialist as soon as he returned. I couldn’t get an appointment right away with other offices. A friend recommended Dr. Torpey. Not only was he seen that day, but the staff called and got approval within minutes from my insurance for an MRI. He had the MRI five minutes later. My husband was back in the office in two days to discuss the MRI findings and treatment. I have never experienced such professionalism and genuine concern from an office staff. Dr. Torpey spent a lot of time with us during the exams and made sure we understood every facet of the surgical procedure my husband needed. He has a warm and genuine bedside manner.
