“Dr. Nicholson is capable way beyond his years. I was thoroughly impressed. I was a little nervous seeing a doctor this young, but within 2 minutes, I knew I was in good hands.”

Treating Doctor:“Doc recommended by local university pitching coach. Doc has worked on both my shoulders and also my son's wrist. Doc explains the situation in layman's terms and is very approachable. Highly recommend.”

Treating Doctor:“Dr. Gentile was very informative about my surgery. He was very pleasant. I was given adequate pain relief post surgery. I started physical therapy and made progress faster than I thought I would. I would definitely recommend Dr. Gentile to anyone who needs an orthopedic surgeon. I also would recommend the physical therapy associated with the practice.”

Treating Doctor:“I met Dr. Parker for the first time. He was kind and explained things to me in a way that I could understand. He gave me a cortisone shot in my shoulder, and it was fine. Overall, it was a good visit. I have also been treated there by Dr. Gabison and Dr. Gesell and have always had a great outcome.”

Treating Doctor:“I can't say enough great things about the care my daughter received from Dr. Gentile, and the entire staff at POA! From the early morning call I made to their service on April 1st, the morning after my daughter was thrown from a horse and released from an emergency room near her college campus over 3 hours away, to seeing us the very same day, if to only make sure her sling fit properly and calm her crazed mom. My daughter had a bad break and the emergency room doctor had been talking about emergency surgery. Dr Gentile truly cares. I can honestly say he treated my daughter as he would treat his own family member. Our 1st scheduled appointment was Monday April 4, 2016. I had spoken with his scheduling secretary a few times by then, at length. Upon our arrival she came downstairs from her office to say hello and meet us in person and see how my daughter was feeling. Above and beyond is the only way to describe the actions of everyone involved in her care. The attention paid to her injury, as well as our family's well being, as a whole, helped to comfort us. What was initially a very scary, traumatic situation, became manageable. I felt sure everything would be ok. It's been over 10 weeks and my daughter is doing fantastic, thanks to the expert care she received.”

Treating Doctor:“This past February I started to develop pain in the back of my shoulder that just wouldn't go away. well, after several visits to the Chiropractor with no results and now numbness and pain setting in on my arm and fingers it was suggested that I might have a neck problem which was clearly evident in the MRI. I had a severe herniation of the disc between C6 and C7. After meeting with Dr. Cohen it became clear that the surgery was a real possibility to eliminate my chronic symptoms. we tried two epidural injections that unfortunately didn't work so surgery became the solution on July 15th. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous. in the past, I've had a few minor orthopedic surgeries and never gave it a thought but when you're dealing with the spinal cord, neck and nerves, you start to think. Dr. Cohen took the time to explain the procedure in great detail with all the options available and after much consideration chose a procedure know as ACDF. I remember waking up in the recovery room after surgery completely pain free in my arm and hand with very little discomfort relating to the surgery. I was home within 24 hours and walking outside within a day, walking 4 miles per day within two weeks. I'm now going on my third week back to doing things I never thought would be possible so soon after surgery. I can thank Dr. Cohen and his staff for providing the best attention, care and treatment. It really made the difference and I will always be grateful to Dr. Cohen for his personal attention and outstanding bedside manner.”
