“Dr. Parker thoroughly explained the results of my MRI and diagnosis. He reviewed the options for treatment. We agreed to start with a more conservative treatment, which he promptly administered.”

Treating Doctor:Patient Rating:“Dr. Gesell has treated me for a few years due to a damaged right knee. I appreciated that he would drain the fluid and inject cortisone when the pain and swelling got too bad. He never pressured me into surgery although I needed it but was not ready for the commitment. When I finally decided on a TKR, Dr. Gesell patiently guided me through the process. I had robotic surgery on April 27th and am happy with the results of my new knee and straight leg. I still have some swelling and stiffness but am much improved from the past pain and deformity. As a mother of a Physician, I expected certain professionalism from my team and was pleased with Dr. Gesell and his staff. The office is friendly and efficient, and patients aren't required to sit and wait for hours in the waiting room. I have referred many people to Dr. Gesell and hope that he continues to stay focused on positive outcomes for his patients. ”

Treating Doctor:Patient Rating:“I had dislocated and fractured my wrist in Florida. When I came back to New Jersey I needed a follow-up physician. Dr. Johnson was thorough, personable, knowledgeable, and professional. I was concerned with the plate that had been surgically implanted in Florida, and he assured me that I was doing well. Thanks to his expertise and encouragement, and the Occupational Therapy and physical therapy which I received on another floor in his building, I am getting back to normal and very grateful!”

Treating Doctor:Patient Rating:“As an avid racquetball player, I have had many injuries over the years. I just can't say enough about Dr. Foos. Dr. Foos has successfully operated on me four times for bones spurs in my elbow and shoulder and also a knee arthroscopy. The staff was phenomenal and the surgery-center was just fantastic. They combined to make each experience very easy. I look forward to many more years on the racquetball court!”

Treating Doctor:“Professional Orthopaedic Associates and Dr. Glenn Gabisan in particular, represent what an orthopaedic practice and physician should be. He diagnosed my knee problem after reviewing x-rays and a MRI that were conveniently performed in the same building at the Tinton Falls office. The practice's policy is to use surgery as a last resort, which I truly appreciate. They try to see each patient within a reasonable time frame of the appointment, and they do not seem to overbook. The office staff and the technicians are extremely competent as well. I have recommended several other patients, including my gymnast granddaughter to this practice, and they were treated by other physicians of the practice in the same professional manor. In the future, if I or any friend or relative need orthopaedic attention, this is the practice I will use and recommend.”

Treating Doctor:“I blew out my left distal bicep tendon during a regular gym workout, nothing heroic just the usual. Dr. Johnson shortly saw me, diagnosed me accurately and quickly while running me through all possible surgical and nonsurgical options as well as their outcomes. I opted to perform the surgical repair, and it was the best possible experience that surgery can be. The pain was minimized, and follow up was both personal and professional. Thank you to Dr. Johnson and all of his staff big shout out to his assistant Beth Conway!”

Treating Doctor:Patient Rating:“Dear Dr. Bade, Each morning as I walk down my long driveway to retrieve my New York Times, I both say a prayer to God for the agility I have in making this trek, and to thank Him further for gifting you with the hands that made it possible. I am sure I am not in your memory, as you are a busy surgeon, but you remain in mine almost daily as I walk with a degree of grace and wear shoes with heels and can maintain my equilibrium. My full recovery did not set in until approximately two years after my operation, but the entire process from surgery to rehabilitation was so well coordinated and efficient that it led to me being pain free and a mobile woman once again. This short message has been running around in my head for a long time, and I am finally able to put my thoughts to paper, and want to once again say Thank You for the hard work you do in your profession, and for making me feel so "whole" again.”

Treating Doctor:“Dr. Torpey did my Revision rotator cuff surgery, after the 1st one by another orthopedic surgeon let go an anchor after 10 months of pain, rehab and being careful. I am a female in my early 60's so the first shot is always the best. However, I believed in Dr. Torpey for the revision surgery and so far my rehab for 4+ mos. had a good outcome, range of motion and all. Although I feel I may never get the strength back that I had before, God willing I will be painless after a year and be able to go back to my normal activities without worrying I will pull something out again. But it has been a long road, 2 surgeries in one year and all that rehab. My take on Dr. Torpey is that he a very nice, caring person, and a fine doctor.”
