“Dr. Bade is a meticulous surgeon whose skills are hard to duplicate. Prior to my hand surgery his explanation of the process was so thorough and complete that he even pulled out a surgical textbook to show me illustrations of what he was going to do. I have thorough and total confidence in Dr. Bade. When the time comes for knee replacement I do not plan to consult any other surgeon. His widespread experience and calm demeanor helps in large measure to assuage patient fears. I cannot recommend him highly enough.”

“I suffered with knee pain for quite a long time before being referred to Dr. Foos. He spoke to me, had me have x-rays and a MRI. He found that I had a torn meniscus in my left knee. I had never had surgery before and was nervous to fix my knee. Dr. Foos performed an arthroscopic procedure. Since he helped me, I have not had any pain in my knee at all. He advised me that my right knee also needed the same treatment. The x-rays had shown a slight slanting of both my kneecaps. Two years after my first procedure, he did the same procedure to my right knee. I am grateful for Dr. Foos and all the staff in that office. They were nothing but kind, happy, and reassuring. It was such a great experience that I recommend this practice constantly. I only wish other doctor visits for other reasons were as pleasant. After rehab (with Sheila) within the same practice, I have full range of motion in both my knees. I am one happy and content patient. I work two jobs and I am a single mom, and I thank God for you all for making me better so I can work.  Thank you.”

“Dr. Torpey, Hope all is well with you! I wanted to get in touch with you to give you a little update and let you know how I’m doing. Working with Drew and Basil has been fantastic to say the least. Turns out I had a lot of muscle imbalances that went unaddressed. They taught me so much and have helped me with the majority of my issues. It’s amazing how quickly the sensation I was feeling of an overly tight anterior capsule disappeared as my imbalances were corrected. I still have a fair amount of work to do, but finally seeing real substantial progress has me very optimistic for the future. I even started lightly working out again. My shoulders feel much more symmetrical and my exercises feel normal again. Things are finally starting to look up for me and I couldn’t be happier. “Unfortunately, at work, I injured my bicep and shoulder. Luckily, I met Dr. Bade. I am not a professional athlete but need to be able to work and supply for my family, here in NJ. After surgeries, I am pain-free and ready to return to my profession. Dr. Bade explained everything that needed to occur, and he and I made that happen. If my family or friends ever have orthopedic issues, I would insist they visit Professional Orthopaedic Associates, and request Dr. Bade.”

“I actually damaged my shoulder several years ago, but aggravated the injury in November 2014. Dr. Bade looked at my shoulder, ordered X-rays, and an MRI, after which he sat with both my wife and me (spending an hour with us discussing options). He advised that I must perform physical therapy before he would even consider surgery (he did not jump at the chance to do surgery). I went through the PT, and unmistakably, my shoulder felt so much better. I felt so good, that I did not intend to request surgery, but unfortunately I injured the shoulder again while lifting my 95 year old mother after she had fallen. I will need to see Dr. Bade once again . . . and look for his expert advise before jumping to any 'surgery' conclusions.”
