“After about 10 years of suffering with a bad ankle and having been told by 3 doctors, specialists in the field, that nothing can be done about the fact that my leg bone sat on top of the ankle bone instead of in its socket, I found Dr. Gabisan. He performed an operation November 2013, and now I can walk without pain. Also, for the past 3 days *(beginning March 10), I have only needed 1 cane to walk instead of a walker. Thanks Dr. Gabisan and staff. I hope you enjoyed the basket of fruit I sent to your office on Thanksgiving.”

I had a MRI 3 days later, and a confirmed meniscus tear. We set up surgery, which he did on a day he doesn't do surgery to accommodative me. Would and have recommended Professional Orthopaedic Associates to others.”

“The proof is in the video of me skiing- spinal fusion works! Dr. Cohen, thank you so much! In June, I couldn't walk, then I had my surgery. In July I rode my bike 20 miles after spinal surgery. By Labor day, I jogged a half mile. In September I was able to jog to a run at least two miles and I was swimming every other day. I started back skiing in December and I was able to be aggressive right from the get-go, powder skiing most of the winter, then onto being aggressive in the bumps, but slow! The biggest believer out there is me!!”

Treating Doctor:“I used to be active athlete who enjoyed all sports! Basketball, tennis, skiing, snow boarding, & martial arts. I had a full torn acl injury ten years ago and had seen quite few doctors over the years in New York and New Jersey. I never felt comfortable so never committed to the surgery. Most practices felt cold and uncaring (akin to a production line). At the recommendation of a friend I went to see Dr. Foos and from the minute I entered the office my experience was second to none. Dr. Foos provided unrushed quality time educating me on my injury and objective choice of options (the previous surgeons didn't really give any). As I expected the surgery went off without a hitch and his follow up was just as good as the first visit. The same quality time was made post-op which was instrumental in my full recovery. Just want to say thanks to Dr. Foos and the Professional Ortho staff for their commitment to quality care and personal service!!”
