“My story started May 2012, when my muscle on my left knee detached from my bone. I went to the ER first, then to Professional Orthopaedic Associates. I saw Dr. Gentile, who took a MRI. After seeing the results, he set a date to operate. All that I told him was that I did not want to know anything at the time of the operation. True to his word, I did not feel anything. I came out of the operation feeling good. His professionalism, knowledge, and compassion, made me feel safe and confidant at the follow-ups. He gave me confidence to dance and to walk on my leg again I would highly recommend Dr. Gentile and his staff for any orthopaedic needs. Thank you.”

“Dr. Gesell is one of the most caring doctors I have ever seen. He did my knee replacement a year ago from a car accident and I would do it all over again with him. My knee is perfect with no pain and I can extend and flex with no problems. I can stand for a long time, when before, I could only stand for approximately an hour. He was very caring and he looked in on me in the hospital to make sure I was doing okay and making sure I was doing my exercises! If it wasn't for Dr. Gesell, I would still be in pain, still be frustrated, and I would still be limping or on crutches! Thanks to Dr. Gesell, I can walk now, even though I need a hip replacement.This is how caring he is, my hip is so bad, he referred me to Hospital for Special Surgery, which is where he did his fellowship, to a great doctor. Thanks to Dr. Gesell, I will be walking without any aids, like a cane or a walker. Thanks to Dr. Gesell and the very caring staff at Professional Orthopaedic Associates, I can get straightened out! “I had been experiencing pain in my left knee for quite some time which was hampering me from enjoying my daily and athletic activities. Dr. Foos diagnosed my problem & began with the least invasive treatment. When this did not relieve my knee pain, he ordered an MRI which showed that I was a candidate for knee replacement surgery. I appreciate that Dr. Foos was very conservative in his diagnosis and gave me plenty of time to consider all of my options. I chose knee replacement surgery as I am a 72-year-old woman who is looking forward to maintaining a very active and athletic lifestyle. It has been two weeks since my surgery. I am attending physical therapy 3 times a week and feel that I am making good progress. I am looking forward to a full recovery. “Dr. Foos has performed rotator cuff surgery on both my shoulders and scoped both my knees and I cannot praise him enough. I've been able to work with my daughter in softball, play golf (attempt to) and live life with no pain in either shoulder or 1 of my knees. I will in time need a knee replacement and the only surgeon I'll consider is Dr. Foos. The office staff in all of the offices are always very friendly and always professional. I would highly recommend Professional Orthopedics to anyone. And I have referred 4 of my friends to them.”
