“I came to see Dr. Gentile because of pain and swelling in my right thumb and wrist. He took x-rays and explained to me, in detail, that I had a bone spur at the base of my thumb that was causing inflammation. He then told his advanced treatment options to me. After being treated with medication and doing some therapeutic exercises, the swelling went down, and I had normal function of my hand and thumb. I was pleased with Dr. Gentile, his detailed explanations, and the results of treatment.”

“Dr. Gesell recommended that I have knee replacement surgery to alleviate the pain in my knee. The Office staff set up all of my appointments for me at Monmouth Medical Center. I arrived at the hospital on the morning of the surgery, and the check-in was speedy. Dr. Gesell operated using the Mako robot. The surgery went well, and I don't remember a thing until I woke up. The Nurses and Residents at the hospital were all very attentive and professional. They got me up to walk right after the surgery, and I went home the next day. My recovery was speedy, and I was walking around the house with just the aid of a cane by the end of the first week. If I had known the recovery was going to be so quick, I would have done this a long time ago. My knee is so much more stable now without that grinding pain. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Gesell and his whole team! ”
