“I went in with trigger finger. I got an appointment quickly. My wait to see the Dr. was less than 10 minutes. After Dr. Johnson gave me a shot, my finger has been feeling great.”

“I actually damaged my shoulder several years ago, but aggravated the injury in November 2014. Dr. Bade looked at my shoulder, ordered X-rays, and an MRI, after which he sat with both my wife and me (spending an hour with us discussing options). He advised that I must perform physical therapy before he would even consider surgery (he did not jump at the chance to do surgery). I went through the PT, and unmistakably, my shoulder felt so much better. I felt so good, that I did not intend to request surgery, but unfortunately I injured the shoulder again while lifting my 95 year old mother after she had fallen. I will need to see Dr. Bade once again . . . and look for his expert advise before jumping to any 'surgery' conclusions.”

“I had a shoulder surgery in February of 2014 by one doctor. Won't mention his name. And it didn't go well. After 9 months of physical therapy things weren't go right. I was referred to Dr Johnson and got a second opinion from him, turns out I needed another surgery. Dr. Johnson did the surgery in January of 2015. I went for physical therapy again until May and went back to work June 1st. I wish I had Dr. Johnson the first time. What a pleasure it was to have been associated with Professional Orthopaedic, I think the whole staff is AAA. I love those guys. Would highly recommend, very friendly and professional. They make you feel like one of the family.”

“Although it has been a long road to recovery, I couldn't be more pleased with Dr. Johnson and the entire office staff. Everything you need is right at your finger tips. Nothing is too much trouble for anyone working there to do for you. From refilling a prescription to figuring out an insurance question, the staff make it known that they are at your disposal. One thing that I really appreciated very much is the no wait time for an appointment. It seems you just sign in and you are being seen by Dr. Johnson. Dr. Johnson is extremely caring and reassuring in his assessment of your specific problem. Kudos to an extremely well run and organized office.”

“Dr Gabisan took the slow and steady course to help mend my Achillies tendon. He told me up front that it would take six months to heal and allow me to walk properly. He prepared me for the future by telling me there is calcification in the tendon and I may have issues in the future. This allowed me to prepare and recognize symptoms before hand! I was well pleased with the results!”

“After three months of unrelenting pain and discomfort that was affecting the quality of my life and after unsuccessful attempts at relief with steroid injections, acupuncture and PT, surgery was recommended. I was referred by a dear friend and doctor to Dr. Jason Cohen. After reviewing my case and looking at my films, Dr. Cohen recommended anterior discectomy with fusion. This was necessary but obviously very scary. Going through this with Dr. Cohen and Professional Orthopaedic Associates gave me the best experience possible. At my first visit and every visit after that I was met by a professional, efficient, caring staff. Dr. Cohen's confident, informative, sympathetic approach helped me sort through the procedure and my options. A bonus for me was also meeting a nurse who had the same surgery as I did and being able to ask her every question I had from the actual procedure to how soon I would be able to wash my hair after surgery. I am so happy to say that my surgery was completely successful and was performed without any problems. My recovery was just as Dr. Cohen told me it would be.  I followed the instructions of Dr. Cohen and the staff throughout my recovery, and two months after my surgery I played 4 rounds of golf in 8 days! Thank you to Dr. Cohen and his wonderful staff for giving me my life back.”

“Have had rheumatoid arthritis for years, I am 73, and no one has identified it before this.  Dr. Johnson identified it and treated the present problem within two visits...My wrists were swollen so bad and so painful, that they resembled a couple of old catchers mitts.....After  taking care of the swelling and pain, I was referred to a Rheumatologist, whom I am seeing now------time will tell--- my wife is under the care of another Orthopedic  surgeon in this group----and she has nothing but praise for him also.....The entire staff or that part that we have dealt with, have all been excellent----Thank You, Thank You, and Thank You.”

“I was told ... that I needed a knee replacement. Since my pain started after an injury and I didn't have chronic pain before, I went for a second opinion to Dr Foos. He disagreed. I had confidence in him because he explained everything to me in plain English. The staff were very reassuring, pleasant and kind: something missing at most Dr offices today. I had the arthroscopic surgery and feel great. In the past I also had a successful diagnosis from Dr Swik on my shoulder. The center where the surgery was performed is better than some hospitals.”

“For over a year or so, I was dealing with hands that were waking me up in the middle of the night. They would become numb, tingling and, painful in the middle of the night which would usually always wake me up. I'd have to hang them off the side of the bed and shake them down to attempt to regain the normal feeling back and hope that I could fall back asleep again which didn't always happen. After having had enough of this, I contacted P.O.A. and asked for Dr. Gentile for help with my condition. I had both carpal tunnel surgeries performed by him within a month and a half of each other. The condition was relieved immediately and the recovery was very quick. I am using my computer again, sleeping through the night, and playing my guitar again without any pain or further issues.
