“Dr. Torpey, Hope all is well with you! I wanted to get in touch with you to give you a little update and let you know how I’m doing. Working with Drew and Basil has been fantastic to say the least. Turns out I had a lot of muscle imbalances that went unaddressed. They taught me so much and have helped me with the majority of my issues. It’s amazing how quickly the sensation I was feeling of an overly tight anterior capsule disappeared as my imbalances were corrected. I still have a fair amount of work to do, but finally seeing real substantial progress has me very optimistic for the future. I even started lightly working out again. My shoulders feel much more symmetrical and my exercises feel normal again. Things are finally starting to look up for me and I couldn’t be happier. I want to thank you for everything you’ve done for me. I’m sure I drove you crazy with all my questions and concerns, but what meant the most to me is that you always listened and never once made me feel stupid for asking them. “Dr. Gesell and his staff were professional and patiently answered all of my questions. I am 115 days post surgery with and I am pleased with the results. I am able to walk downstairs without taking them one at a time. Dr. Gesell operated with a robot assist and used glue instead of staples on closing the surgical wound which made for a simple, tasteful scar. I was nervous about the surgery but my fears were put to rest and I'm happy that I decided to have it. Luckily I only needed one knee replaced but I would definitely use Dr. Gesell again should I need to replace the other knee in the future. The staff at the group is warm and efficient and I never had to wait more than 10 minutes to be seen. Overall this was a positive experience and I would recommend Dr. Gesell to anyone in need of a new knee. ”
