  • “I would like to thank you for your special expertise, great kindness and alacrity that you gave to my “two knees” and their replacements!! My entire experience with this seeming debacle was one of trust and appreciative understanding of your prowess and empathy to my situation and I am very grateful. Also, your entire staff, especially Amanda, who was so willing and thoughtful to help in any way, was wonderful.”

  • “I had a cyst in the joint of my thumb that interfered with my clinical classes that I needed to take for nursing school. My podiatrist recommended I go to Professional Orthopaedic Associates, specifically the Tinton Falls office to see Dr. Johnson. After consultations with him, we decided a surgical approach would be the best for me based upon the cysts position in between nerves. Shortly after the surgery, I went to occupational therapy, and was quickly able to return to school. Thanks to Dr. Johnson, I didn't have to give up my dream of an education in the medical field.”

  • “Dr. Johnson, I am just so thankful that you fixed my knee. If it weren't for you, I don't think I'd be playing soccer for the Red Bulls right now. After my therapy, I started and lead my high school team to the states. I had the most assists in the league and was named to the honorable mention all county team. You and (PT) Sheila saved my soccer career. We just got finished playing with the U-17 US National team. I also went to Florida to play in a national showcase. If it weren't for you I wouldn't be experiencing all of these unforgettable moments. I'm really grateful for what you have done. Thanks again for everything!”

  • “I was getting ready for work early a.m. on 12/13. While putting my socks on, something happened to my left hip. I literally could not move an inch in any direction without extreme pain (never felt pain that intense in my life 62 years old). I thought I dislocated or broke the hip. My wife called 5 different orthopaedic offices, and no one would see me that day except Dr. Gentile. I had a walker in the house, was able to make it to the car, and my wife drove to the office.  Not only did Dr. Gentile see me that day, but he did not take my insurance. He said he would accept payment from my insurance, whatever it was, without additional charge to us. He took x-rays and his bedside manner was wonderful. I highly recommend Dr. Gentile!  It took 2.5 months, but with only the medication Dr. Gentile prescribed, the pain in my left hip totally disappeared!! Now I'm very careful whenever I put my socks on.”

  • “My experience with Dr. GENTILE was the comforting feeling of being safe and in capable hands from October until I was discharged today. It has been a long feeling helpless journey. He prescribed physical therapy right after the injury which felt very hard at first but gradually I could feel myself able to do more. Surgery was performed in December and shortly afterwards I resumed my therapy with the strength that I had maintained before surgery. After 8 months since the injury, hard work and excellent medical support, I am better than I was before. In the beginning, I never thought this was possible. Thank you, Dr. Gentile for all of your time listening and successful challenging surgery.”

  • “Dear Dr. Johnson, Clorinda, & All the Office Staff at Professional Orthopaedic Associates, I just want to say again thank you for your incredible kindness and generosity towards me and my family. You are truly the most sincere, caring, and unselfish human beings that I have ever had the pleasure to meet. I have been a patient of Professional Orthopaedic Associates for many years. Dr. Johnson, you have treated our family for at least 30 years now. From my in-laws to my children and now to me. From the moment we met, you always made me feel at peace. I will admit, I have been thrown a couple of curve balls in my time and am very fearful when it comes to doctors, but knowing that I am in your hands, has always left me so comforted. Clorinda, where do I begin. You are the best for always fitting us in for immediate appointments and helping us with paper work and insurance. Your calming presence and efficient organization has pulled this family through many procedures, from fractured bones in my son’s ankle’s, knees, and hand, to my irregular EKGs and then being sent instantly to your own cardiologist. Thank you. Having this tremendous disc pain has been torture. I had been in severe pain for approx. 7 months. My neck, back, and left arm all hurt. My pain got to the point that I could only stand. Sitting was unbearable. Dr. Johnson, you examined me and knew right away that something funny was going on. That same day, I was introduced to your associate Dr. Cohen, who confirmed I needed an anterior cervical discectomy and fusion. Surgery was scheduled two weeks later after all pre-testing was approved. You have gone above and beyond to help me get to where I am today. Checking on me weekly to make sure all pre-testing was on scheduled and that I was not in pain. I was very afraid as my insurance was not taken at the office and I received a call that night to say not to worry. I am a widow with three children and one still in college, so I was very scared of the finances. Insurance companies denying most everything as they do. And also worrying that the worst would happen in surgery. It is such a foreign concept to be told by your office that  “Professional Orthopedic puts their patients 1st  and not the finances." They explained they would work with my insurance company and they stood by what they said! I am so happy to say that surgery took place April 24th - one week ago. I was home the next day 100% pain free and feeling better that I have in years. I had my follow up visit with Dr. Cohen six days later and was so excited to be told all was successful. Even your front desk staff hugged and welcomed me back. YOUR KINDNESS WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTON!!!! You are truly an angel. God bless you for your talent, kindness, and compassion.”

  • “My family sees other physicians within Professional Orthopaedic Associates, and we argue over who had the better experience. Whether for knees, necks, backs, or ankles - we know where to go - Professional Orthopaedic Associates! I have been a patient of Dr. Gabisan's for a little under a year, but I must say that I wish he was not just an orthopaedic. His bedside manner is amazing. He sits, listens, and asks questions to better understand your issue. When you are a patient of his, you are a person not a number or a set of symptoms. I have been having issues with the same ankle over the better course of 7 years. He listened to the each issue, and then went further, and helped me come up with strategies to alleviate the tension and stress on my joint. Not to mention he warned against future injuries in my other ankle because of loosening ligaments. While the physicians are attentive and caring, it is not just Dr. Gabisan who makes the experience comforting, his office staff, Roz and RoseAnne worked with my crazy schedule to help get the scans I needed, and a chance to see Dr. Gabisan where I would not feel rushed. Even though in my future is probably a surgical procedure I think I can say I look forward to knowing that I will have all of the answers to my questions, and someone supporting me through it all.  ”
