“I am very pleased to be writing you a second letter regarding another amazing experience at Monmouth Medical Center. Previously, in April 2016, Dr. Mark Gesell replaced my arthritic hip using robotic surgery and most recently replaced my arthritic knee similarly. Again, I had a stellar experience beginning with Pre-Admission testing (Beth, Suzanne, Doreen, Herb) leading me to the day of surgery. My first memories of post-op were spent with a caring and thoughtful Recovery Room Nurse, Joyce. She stayed with me beyond her shift and I was so grateful. Finally, my journey to the 6th floor Orthopedic Wing – what a team with an apparent committed effort focusing on me, the patient. I so appreciated the care from Nicole Wilps’ 6th floor team – Ben and Angela, my evening and daytime Nurses and Robin, the Physical Therapist. As I reflect, it appeared all was possible because of the constant articulation between the Medical Center team and Dr. Gesell’s Administrative Assistant, Amanda Aversa. She was the perfect patient advocate! I always knew I had chosen a most highly regarded surgeon, Dr. Mark Gesell, and now I also know I was privileged to spend my first healing days with my new knee at Monmouth Medical Center. ”

“I was having pain and experiencing increasing difficulty walking. After a consultation with Dr. Gesell, I was found to have severe arthritis in both hips. I had my right hip replaced on March 12, 2013 and my left hip on April 30. Both surgeries went very well, and I was back to work by June 3. Dr. Gesell is an excellent surgeon, and I would recommend this practice to anyone.”

“I used to be active athlete who enjoyed all sports! Basketball, tennis, skiing, snow boarding, & martial arts. I had a full torn acl injury ten years ago and had seen quite few doctors over the years in New York and New Jersey. I never felt comfortable so never committed to the surgery. Most practices felt cold and uncaring (akin to a production line). At the recommendation of a friend I went to see Dr. Foos and from the minute I entered the office my experience was second to none. Dr. Foos provided unrushed quality time educating me on my injury and objective choice of options (the previous surgeons didn't really give any). As I expected the surgery went off without a hitch and his follow up was just as good as the first visit. The same quality time was made post-op which was instrumental in my full recovery. “My family sees other physicians within Professional Orthopaedic Associates, and we argue over who had the better experience. Whether for knees, necks, backs, or ankles - we know where to go - Professional Orthopaedic Associates! I have been a patient of Dr. Gabisan's for a little under a year, but I must say that I wish he was not just an orthopaedic. His bedside manner is amazing. He sits, listens, and asks questions to better understand your issue. When you are a patient of his, you are a person not a number or a set of symptoms. I have been having issues with the same ankle over the better course of 7 years. He listened to the each issue, and then went further, and helped me come up with strategies to alleviate the tension and stress on my joint. Not to mention he warned against future injuries in my other ankle because of loosening ligaments. While the physicians are attentive and caring, it is not just Dr. Gabisan who makes the experience comforting, his office staff, Roz and RoseAnne worked with my crazy schedule to help get the scans I needed, and a chance to see Dr. Gabisan where I would not feel rushed. Even though in my future is probably a surgical procedure I think I can say I look forward to knowing that I will have all of the answers to my questions, and someone supporting me through it all.  ”

“Dr. Foos is outstanding. Upon initial examination, he gives you an honest assessment along with distinct options concerning your treatment. You are advised both before and after surgery, and along with his support staff, a stressful situation is made as easy as possible. He called the day after surgery to make sure things were going well. The level of care is exceptional. He is highly recommended.”

“The entire Professional Orthopedics staff were terrific, and Roz was phenomenal. She gave me all of my insurance information and made sure I knew what to expect from my additional studies. The office staff in the Tinton Falls office always had a smile, and the two x-ray techs were quick efficient and made the process painless (despite two fractures lol). Dr. Gabisan listened to my concerns addressed all of my issues, and made sure I was comfortable. I never hesitate to recommend Professional Orthopedics. They are amazing!”
