“My daughter Angela is a high school soccer player. She injured both ACLs (plus her meniscus and MCL) in a nine-month span. We, as a family, were so distraught after her first injury. Angela was assured by Dr. Torpey that she would be back on the playing field, but I don't think she really believed it would happen. Sure enough she had a remarkable recovery and was back practicing within five months! But after her second injury, she didn't even want to think about playing soccer again. We often feel like that with other practices. The few times we had to call during off hours, we immediately received a return phone call. We also received phone calls from Dr. Torpey himself just to see how she was doing. We felt like we knew him for a very long time. Anytime someone gets hurt, "Go see Dr. Torpey" are the first words out of Angelas mouth, followed by "He is amazing."”

“Dr. Torpey spent at least 45 minutes with me, explaining, in most explicit detail, the tear in the supraspinatus, the rotator cuff muscle that is torn. He clearly, with a most intricate drawing, explained the problem and the procedure to repair the tear. Besides his expert knowledge, he most professionally dealt with many of my questions, particularly those that referred to holistic professionals, who had also read my MRI and prescribed a program of action. I felt overwhelmed with the need for surgery, but Dr. Torpey eased any of my concerns. I experienced no pressure to have surgery. Although, Dr. Torpey explained clearly why he believes it is necessary. I was most impressed with the entire experience.”

“After several months of living with pain. After seeing a chiropractor, having physical therapy, and trying acupuncture, nothing was helping. I sought care from Dr. Cohen. I couldn't look up, down, or to the side. After MRI, Dr. Cohen determined I had three herniated discs, and I could try epidural shots, but that would only be a temporary band-aid. He recommended that I needed surgery to repair three discs in my neck. He would insert a plate and screws. He took the time along with Adrienne his nurse (which seems to be his right-hand person) to explain in detail what I would experience before, during, and after surgery.
