“My story started May 2012, when my muscle on my left knee detached from my bone. I went to the ER first, then to Professional Orthopaedic Associates. I saw Dr. Gentile, who took a MRI. After seeing the results, he set a date to operate. All that I told him was that I did not want to know anything at the time of the operation. True to his word, I did not feel anything. I came out of the operation feeling good. His professionalism, knowledge, and compassion, made me feel safe and confidant at the follow-ups. He gave me confidence to dance and to walk on my leg again I would highly recommend Dr. Gentile and his staff for any orthopaedic needs. Thank you.”

“Dr. Gesell helped me to feel confident about the surgeries that he would perform. He explained the surgical procedure and what I should expect after as far as mobility and pain levels as the healing time progressed. His demeanor made me feel sure that I had the correct doctor for each of my procedures. He first performed a total hip replacement which I had put off for much too long. I now have a well-performing hip that makes me feel like I have the bone of a 15-year-old. Dr. Gesell also fixed the tears in my right shoulder. He told me what to expect after the surgery and how long my recovery would take. Now I have a pain free shoulder. Dr. Gesell is also treating me for my right knee which has a tear and some arthritis. He has done two injections that have helped immensely, although I do know that somewhere down the line I will need a knee replacement, he has assured me that we can wait until that procedure is necessary for the quality of life which I do have at this point with the injections. I would feel remiss if I personally did not say "thank-you" for the two hip replacements that you performed on me over the past three years and most recently in Jan of this year. To say the least the success of these two total hip replacement operations has improved my quality of life. In addition I would like to say "thank-you" to the entire staff at Professional Orthopedic Associates for the way they treated me. This includes the front office staff, the X-ray technicians, the business personnel and a special "thank-you" to Patty Orlando. “I called in on a Friday with a bit of an emergency for my son's broken thumb. The friendly receptionist was happy to assist me in getting me in that day to see Dr. Bade. Dr. Bade and John, his assistant, were terrific in addressing all of our concerns. My son was starting a job as a lifeguard the next day, and Dr. Bade put him at ease with having him use a brace for a few days at lifeguarding until his scheduled surgery. He assured my son that he was going to be healed and back to lifeguarding this season with no problem. Surgery went as planned and Dr.Bade was even very patient when my son accidentally got the cast wet, and he had to re-cast him. In early July the cast came off, and David's thumb is healed. He is back to fulltime lifeguard duties! Thank you to Dr.Bade and the excellent staff at Professional Orthopaedic Associates.”
