“Dr. Gesell has treated me for a few years due to a damaged right knee. I appreciated that he would drain the fluid and inject cortisone when the pain and swelling got too bad. He never pressured me into surgery although I needed it but was not ready for the commitment. When I finally decided on a TKR, Dr. Gesell patiently guided me through the process. I had robotic surgery on April 27th and am happy with the results of my new knee and straight leg. I still have some swelling and stiffness but am much improved from the past pain and deformity. As a mother of a Physician, I expected certain professionalism from my team and was pleased with Dr. Gesell and his staff. The office is friendly and efficient, and patients aren't required to sit and wait for hours in the waiting room. “Dr. Bade performed an arthroscopic surgery on my knee after I suffered cartilage damage. It had been nearly 20 years since my last surgery, which took place during my 4 years as a D1, basketball player. The results were so good that I was able to go back, against Dr. Bade's recommendation mind you, to playing basketball weekly, running long distances and hiking. I have recommended Dr. Bade many times for his excellent work and results, professionalism, and great candor.”

“Dr. Johnson, I wish to thank you for the great job that you did for me on two occasions. The first was a couple of years ago after a sever ligament tear to my left thumb. Since then it has healed tremendously and it is now a non-issue in daily performance on the job, when I'm working out or in the future as I perform my summer duties life guarding. The second was the most recent operation you performed on my knee to take care of a torn piece of cartilage. Though I still think about it in order to protect it, I shocked myself when to perform a task that involved the use of brute force i used that very leg and didn't realize I had until afterward. I of course rebuked myself for doing so, but it put a smile on my face realizing that the knee was solid. I also wish to give a sincere thank you for the greatest confidence you instilled on my daughter when she saw you. She was amazed when you got on the phone and got her an appointment within a week with a doctor that she was not able to get an appointment for over a month. She also said that she felt tremendously comfortable with your overall demeanor and courtesy towards her in a personal way and not just a clinical manner. We've known one another since high school and I am proud to tell people that fact. Not just because you are an excellent doctor and surgeon, for which I recommend you, but because you are a fine individual that really does care about his patients.”

“Dr. Torpey did my Revision rotator cuff surgery, after the 1st one by another orthopedic surgeon let go an anchor after 10 months of pain, rehab and being careful. I am a female in my early 60's so the first shot is always the best. However, I believed in Dr. Torpey for the revision surgery and so far my rehab for 4+ mos. had a good outcome, range of motion and all. Although I feel I may never get the strength back that I had before, God willing I will be painless after a year and be able to go back to my normal activities without worrying I will pull something out again. But it has been a long road, 2 surgeries in one year and all that rehab. My take on Dr. Torpey is that he a very nice, caring person, and a fine doctor.”

“The proof is in the video of me skiing- spinal fusion works! Dr. Cohen, thank you so much! In June, I couldn't walk, then I had my surgery. In July I rode my bike 20 miles after spinal surgery. By Labor day, I jogged a half mile. In September I was able to jog to a run at least two miles and I was swimming every other day. I started back skiing in December and I was able to be aggressive right from the get-go, powder skiing most of the winter, then onto being aggressive in the bumps, but slow! The biggest believer out there is me!! Thanks again.”
