  • “My experience with Dr. Gabisan has been very positive. After an unfortunate fall and in a great deal of pain Dr. Gabisan was gentle and kind while examining and diagnosing my fractured ankle. He explained in detail the extent of my injury and did what he could to make my injury tolerable by prescribing the necessary medical equipment and medication to assist me in my recovery. I would feel comfortable referring him to my family and friends.”

  • “Dear Dr. Bade, Each morning as I walk down my long driveway to retrieve my New York Times, I both say a prayer to God for the agility I have in making this trek, and to thank Him further for gifting you with the hands that made it possible. I am sure I am not in your memory, as you are a busy surgeon, but you remain in mine almost daily as I walk with a degree of grace and wear shoes with heels and can maintain my equilibrium. My full recovery did not set in until approximately two years after my operation, but the entire process from surgery to rehabilitation was so well coordinated and efficient that it led to me being pain free and a mobile woman once again. This short message has been running around in my head for a long time, and I am finally able to put my thoughts to paper, and want to once again say Thank You for the hard work you do in your profession, and for making me feel so "whole" again.”

  • “Came in because of ongoing shoulder pain, Dr. Torpey found a tear and a few things wrong. The surgery went extremely smooth, and rehab was perfect!”

  • “My 17 year old daughter had a boxers fracture on her right hand.  I searched for 2 days to find a doctor that would take our insurance. I could have taken her to the emergency room, which would have cost over $3000, just to be looked at WITH insurance. Then we would have been told to go to an orthopaedic doctor to reset the hand and cast it.After being on the internet for 2 days searching for a doctor, I found Professional Orthopaedic Associates at 5:55 in the evening and left a distressing message on the machine. I told them that I needed care for my daughter with this certain insurance, that NO one was taking, or no one was available to see her for 3 weeks! At 6:00, I received a very calming voice on the other end of the phone that they would be able to help us. They had an agreement to take what ever the insurance would give them. The relief was indescribable. We went the next morning at 7:30 am. The office was friendly and very professional. Dr. Johnson was great. He was very professional and very relaxed with my daughter. We laughed about her boxer fracture that is usually a male injury, from hitting a wall. Temper temper. My daughter’s care was outstanding and very professional. I would go back if I needed to any time.I was nervous that the bill was still going to be high, with one child in college and the next one ready to go to college, our money is being handled very carefully. When I received the final statement from the insurance company of what we owed, which was zero. We paid our co-pays and they stood by what they said and took what ever the insurance company paid.  All I could do was thank God first, and thank Professional Orthopaedic Associates for their generosity and their integrity.  I haven't been able to say THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH, until now. Our experience was a great blessing and a life lesson for my daughter. Never punch a wall when you’re mad.”

  • “Dr. Johnson treated me when I fractured my wrist. He was patient and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and put me at ease when surgery was indicated. Through pre-surgery, operation, and post-surgery, he was always available to answer any questions and check on me during rehab. I'll certainly enthusiastically recommending Dr. Johnson.”

  • “I fell and broke my wrist. Scheduled surgery with Dr. Johnson at the Surgery Center and was well take care of before Dr. Johnson performed surgery. Afterwards, I was in a lot of pain and was well taken care of again at the Surgery Center. He put in a plate and 8 pins. It amazing my wrist is fine. I recommend Dr. Johnson, besides being a great surgeon he is a sweet person. Sounds silly, but that is how I think of Dr. Johnson—he's such a sweet person.”

  • “I was at my most frustrated point, no one was able to come to a conclusion as to what was "wrong with me," I’ve had over 22 vascular operations, my joints were killing me, and had small tumors in my nerves, along with many other symptoms. Finally my knees were so bad, I could barely make it through a grocery trip, without them buckling and landing on the floor. I was barely in my 30’s. I had 33 mall children, had been searching for answers for over 10 years, most doctors thought I had Lupus, but all tests were always negative. I use to dance, do jazz and ballet, loved the beach, and bike riding all were things of my past. If I dared to take three steps in sand, my knees would literally fold underneath me. I was scared; I had hemorrhaged, come close to dying and had no hope. So yes, this office is an orthopaedic office, but they do more than that, they "listen" and truly care. Dr. Foos came recommended by 3 different doctors. He tried conservative measures first to strengthen my knees, however, after MRIs and physical therapy, surgery was the next step. I will never forget his words: “Your knee looks like you have played professional football for over 40 years. I did much more extensive work than I planned, which went well and will give you some time. However, you must get it replaced, very soon. I cannot believe, I am telling someone your age this.” In my mid late 30’s, I had both knees replaced, and my left elbow (partially replaced) and he found me a doctor who KNEW WHAT WAS WRONG WITH ME!!! I began treatments, with immune suppressants and both doctors communicate on my case regularly. I walk on the beach, without pain AT ALL. I am now 52, have hardly had much better quality of life, and attended almost all of my son’s soccer games, daughters cheerleading events, and my older son's concerts. This is ALL due to Dr Foo's and Professional Orthopaedic Associates. They care, they listen, and they are amazing at what they do.”
