“When I saw you for my shoulder, I thanked you for not treating me like an old lady. ou said, “You did not see an old lady, you saw a person who needed relief.” When I went to a walk-in clinic, this past Sunday, the doctor saw an old lady. She diagnosed arthritis in my knee (bone on bone) because she saw an old lady. You found little arthritis. What you found was a torn meniscus. Thank you for being the kind of doctor who is not an assembly line doctor, but one who is truly interested in each of his patients’ needs. PS: I am feeling so much better!!”

“I was on the fence about getting the operation for a year. Posterior meniscus tear. I was getting therapy and had minimal success. Dr. Torpey was highly recommended by my brother Inlaw who is a personal trainer. The operation was performed in November 2015 and I just got back from snowboarding in Colorado with zero pain. I'm back at the gym and could not be happier with the experience. Ty Dr. Torpey and thank you to a great staff.”

“I had a cyst in the joint of my thumb that interfered with my clinical classes that I needed to take for nursing school. My podiatrist recommended I go to Professional Orthopaedic Associates, specifically the Tinton Falls office to see Dr. Johnson. After consultations with him, we decided a surgical approach would be the best for me based upon the cysts position in between nerves. Shortly after the surgery, I went to occupational therapy, and was quickly able to return to school. Thanks to Dr. Johnson, I didn't have to give up my dream of an education in the medical field.”

“Dr. Gesell replaced my right hip in August; surgery went as he described it, and I've had no complications thus far. I experienced minimal pain, it was more a feeling of discomfort as I learned how to move around during the first few days after the surgery. My mobility has improved significantly each day since surgery. I would recommend Dr Gesell to anyone who is considering joint replacement.”
