“Had debilitating leg pain due to a ruptured disk in L4/L5 region. As a tennis professional and recreational runner, my life as I knew it was over. Dr. Cohen performed surgery to relieve the pressure on the nerve causing the leg and foot pain. I was able to resume running within a few weeks and actually ran a 2:58 at the Chicago Marathon later that year, along with a personal best of 2:55 at Boston a few months after. Thank you Dr. Cohen. Without you, my running days would have been over!”

“Dr. Torpey did my Revision rotator cuff surgery, after the 1st one by another orthopedic surgeon let go an anchor after 10 months of pain, rehab and being careful. I am a female in my early 60's so the first shot is always the best. However, I believed in Dr. Torpey for the revision surgery and so far my rehab for 4+ mos. had a good outcome, range of motion and all. Although I feel I may never get the strength back that I had before, God willing I will be painless after a year and be able to go back to my normal activities without worrying I will pull something out again. But it has been a long road, 2 surgeries in one year and all that rehab. My take on Dr. Torpey is that he a very nice, caring person, and a fine doctor.”

“Dr. Gabison is an exceptional surgeon. His work is meticulous and he does exactly as he says he will. This was my third surgery with him. He listens to my concerns and answers all my questions with great patience. His office team, particularly Roz and Rosanne, are so efficient and friendly to work with they actually feel like they are friends- They do everything they can in making everything as easy as possible, from working with insurance, arranging pre and post op tests, and scheduling-- I am very pleased with the Professional Orthopedic group and would(and did) recommend them to my family and friends- ”

“Dr. Gesell replaced my left knee and I couldn't be more pleased. He is thorough, kind & very competent. I was only in the hospital for one night & had no pain whatsoever. I would recommend him to my family and friends. I'm a little over 8 weeks out and doing great. I've been back to pilates since week 3 and also doing therapy 3x a week. All in all, it's been a very positive experience.”
