“Professional caring excellent staff ”

“I came to Dr. Bade for a torn meniscus and a blown up bursa sac in my right shoulder. In both visits and every subsequent visit thereafter, Dr Bade and his staff were beyond professional. He took the time to listen, examine and diagnose my injuries with the utmost care, and treated me with both dignity and respect. My wife Elena and daughter Kayla are both patients of Dr. Foos, my daughter is a solid athlete and tore her ACL during a High level gymnastics completion, we brought her to Dr Foos who evaluated her explained in great detail the diagnosis, as well as how he was going to repair the ACL. Dr. Foos performed surgery on Kayla's knee, with absolute care and precision, and she was back to competing at the same level in 3 1/2 months and continues to play club field hockey at the University of Delaware, where she is studying to be a physician assistant thanks to this GREAT doctor, I have total confidence in, and respect for both Dr. Bade, and Dr. Foos they both truly care about each one of their patients, and it is evident throughout the entire practice.  and I have, and will continue to recommend Professional Orthopedics to anyone who asks.Thank you to Dr. Bade and Dr. Foos, you are both a very special men and the epitome of what a doctor is and should be.”

“Dear Dr. Foos, Here I am with two knees, and I want to thank you for giving me back my life. When I first came to see you, I was in so much pain. Today I feel like a new person and I am finally pain-free. Through it all, you always explained things so that I knew what would happen as well as how and why. You patiently and thoughtfully answered all my questions, even those some might consider silly (zumba and zip lines). You have an incredible staff. They have always been so nice to me. Your assistant, Jennifer, is amazing. She has traveled this journey with me, answering every phone call, every question, every fear I had, always so professional and compassionate. Then there's Laurie, the first person I would see at the reception desk; Colleen, Anthony, and John, who would bring me back to one of the exam rooms or take me for x-rays; Clarinda, who I would see on my way out and make my next appointment; Justine, who gave me those reminder calls. And then, physical therapy -- Tracy is the first person I spoke with at POA PT, and she was so kind and caring; Sheela is an incredible physical therapist and did wonders. And then there is you, Dr. Foos. Thanks to your great surgical skills and knowledge and compassion, you have brought me through this journey. “My 17 year old daughter had a boxers fracture on her right hand.  I searched for 2 days to find a doctor that would take our insurance. I could have taken her to the emergency room, which would have cost over $3000, just to be looked at WITH insurance. Then we would have been told to go to an orthopaedic doctor to reset the hand and cast it.After being on the internet for 2 days searching for a doctor, I found Professional Orthopaedic Associates at 5:55 in the evening and left a distressing message on the machine. I told them that I needed care for my daughter with this certain insurance, that NO one was taking, or no one was available to see her for 3 weeks! At 6:00, I received a very calming voice on the other end of the phone that they would be able to help us. They had an agreement to take what ever the insurance would give them. The relief was indescribable. We went the next morning at 7:30 am. The office was friendly and very professional. Dr. Johnson was great. He was very professional and very relaxed with my daughter. We laughed about her boxer fracture that is usually a male injury, from hitting a wall. Temper temper. My daughter’s care was outstanding and very professional. I would go back if I needed to any time.I was nervous that the bill was still going to be high, with one child in college and the next one ready to go to college, our money is being handled very carefully. When I received the final statement from the insurance company of what we owed, which was zero. We paid our co-pays and they stood by what they said and took what ever the insurance company paid.  All I could do was thank God first, and thank Professional Orthopaedic Associates for their generosity and their integrity.  I haven't been able to say THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH, until now. Our experience was a great blessing and a life lesson for my daughter. Never punch a wall when you’re mad.”

“Dear Dr. Gabisan, Thanks to you I was able to take the cruise and go on all of the shore excursions and climb hundreds of steps going to museums and cathedrals.
