My Comeback Story: Kevin C.

Dr. Torpey was the orthopedic doctor for my University Baseball team and I reached out to him after a pretty devastating contact injury to my left knee requiring ACL reconstruction, Meniscus repair, and MCL repair. Dr. Torpey fixed me all up 28 years ago. Due to his great work, I was back playing competitive sports with in 6 months, running with in 16 weeks of surgery. 

Fast forward to the winter of 2026 during one of our ice storm snow events, I tore my meniscus in that same knee and required surgery. I would only go to one doctor and it would be Dr. Torpey once again. 28 years later, he was still the same guy, calmly gave me piece of mind that he would handle this quickly and expertly. And...he did, just like the first surgery years ago (although that was much more complicated). I was up and walking the same day, walking without pain and without a limp with in 7 days, and back to my regular routine. 

I will forever be grateful for Dr. Torpey and the entire Professional Orthopedic Associates team. Always professional, always responsive and always reliable.
