“I have also treated with Dr. Gentile and Dr. Gesell. Not only are these doctors knowledgable they are all very caring doctors. If there was ever a question you always were able to discuss it with them. They were always available to discuss an issue or resolve a problem or just to give you a hug. They are not only doctors but all are very caring people which now a days is very rare. Thank you, Dr. Gentile, Dr. Cohen and Dr. Gesell for your help in treating me with my problems but also being there at some of my darkest times. Also I like to say thank you to the staff who are also professional caring and compassionate people but always returned your call or followed up with any questions. They are truly an asset to this facility. Thank you all for always making your patients feel kind they are human beings.”

“Had been to another doctor from a huge local practice a few days prior. What a world of difference! Dr. Gabisan actually greeted me and asked me questions re: how I had  broken both of my ankles. Then, amazingly enough, he actually touched my foot and also asked me if I could wiggle my toes! He explained that I would have more bleeding and not to be concerned. He also told me to take aspirin to lessen the possibility of blood clots. I couldn't have been more pleased with his professionalism and his excellent care. The previous doctor couldn't get out of the room quickly enough!”

He explained in detail the extent of my injury and did what he could to make my injury tolerable by prescribing the necessary medical equipment and medication to assist me in my recovery. I would feel comfortable referring him to my family and friends.”

“Last year, I saw Dr. Bade because my right shoulder was bothering me. He ordered a CT scan, and after review prescribed physical therapy. The PT made a complete difference in how I felt... Dr. Bade indicated no further action was required at that time... I was very pleased that he did NOT jump on the chance to operate... it was obvious he had MY best interest in mind. Unfortunately, I damaged the shoulder further... this time I need surgery because the rotator cuff is in fact severely damaged. I have complete confidence in Dr. Bade, and look forward to getting back to my old self again.”

I knew it was a meniscus problem because I had been there with my other knee. My pain management doctor did a great job sending me for an MRI... and he tried to schedule me with another doctor. The appointment they gave him was to happen in 4 weeks. Four weeks of pain and using a cane... just to see a doctor really? So, I got Dr. Bade's name from a friend. I had an appointment in less than a week.... and surgery for my two tears and a shred... the very next week.   Great to find a staff and a doctor that cares.”

“After years of neck and back pain, my symptoms began to inhibit my everyday life. I decided to make an appointment with Professional Orthopaedic Associates since my sons and other family members were established patients, and I chose Dr. Cohen since he specializes in spine issue. I really thought this first appointment would establish me as a patient "just in case" my condition should become more severe. After my initial appointment and subsequent MRI, Dr. Cohen explained that surgery would be my best option. I was surprised, but based on what my "untrained" eye could easily see on the MRI, I knew having the surgery sooner would be better than later. We scheduled the surgery which went very well, and eight weeks later, I'm happy to report that my recovery is going very well. I was surprised at how quickly I was able to drive, return to work, and remove the dreaded "neck brace." The entire staff at Professional Orthopaedics treated me very well as did the staff at Monmouth Medical. I should also add that Dr. Cohen has a very kind and confident demeanor, which I found comforting.”

I have never experienced such professionalism and genuine concern from an office staff. Dr. Torpey spent a lot of time with us during the exams and made sure we understood every facet of the surgical procedure my husband needed. He has a warm and genuine bedside manner.
