We are excited to be a Pink Partner with Paint the Town Pink, a Meridian Health event, during the month of May!

Paint the Town Pink is a community-wide effort to raise awareness for the importance of annual mammography. The goal is to encourage women in our community, aged 40 and older, to have their annual mammogram, to raise money to provide mammography to uninsured or under-insured women in our community, and to make a difference in the lives of women in our community.

We are proud to announce that our doctors have been named Top Doctors of 2015 by New Jersey Monthly Magazine for the third consecutive year!

This honor is awarded each year to New Jersey doctors across all medical specialties who have been nominated by other area physicians for outstanding performance and patient care.

The Tinton Falls Awards Program has selected our doctors for the 2015 Best of Tinton Falls Awards for Physicians & Surgeons for the eighth year in a row! Our very own Dr. Christopher D. Johnson served on Dr. Angelo Chinnicis’ medical staff for the Haskell Invitational at Monmouth Race Track on Sunday, August 2nd.  Dr. Johnson was there to provide emergent orthopaedic medical care, as necessary, for the jockey’s and staff.  Professional Orthopaedics salutes Monmouth Park Raceway for providing a great race for New Jersey’s native horse, American Pharoah.  Monmouth Park Raceway continues to provide a unique experience for families and friends in the jersey shore and tri-state areas.

Christopher Johnson, MD, FACS, knee, upper extremity and sports medicine specialist at Professional Orthopaedic Associates, spearheaded the establishment of the Adult Burn Center in the Escuela Hospital of Honduras after his 2013 medical mission trip made him aware of the dire need for a dedicated burn facility.

Professional Orthopaedic Associates, with locations in Tinton Falls, Toms River and Freehold, has been providing specialized orthopaedic care to area residents for 30 years.

Our very own Dr. Harry A. Bade, III, Sports Medicine Surgeon, contributed to an article by NJ.com about the rise of the Tommy John surgical procedure.  Dr. Bade explains the increased number of cases of this elbow surgery, named after the former L.A. Dodger's pitcher, Tommy John, is due to the increasing number of youth athletes.  Dr.

For the second consecutive year, the surgeons at Professional Orthopaedic Associates were named Top Doctors of 2014 by New Jersey Monthly Magazine. The award is based on peer election, and only 4% of the 23,000+ nominees received this prestigious honor. 

Doctors at Professional Orthopaedic Associates have recently been honored with the On-Time Doctor Award by Vitals, and honor awarded only to select doctors with the shortest average wait times, as reported by their patients.
